One of KCMBF's three Legal Connection programs, Domestic Violence Alliance (formerly the Domestic Violence & Children Interdisciplinary Conference) is an annual day-long seminar held each October during Domestic Violence Awareness Month.  Under the leadership of KCMBF, various legal, social service, medical and law enforcement agencies across the Kansas City metropolitan area collaborate to plan, promote and attend the seminar aimed at providing essential interdisciplinary information, education and support to these crucial partners who support victims and work to eliminate domestic violence.

The Domestic Violence Alliance committee is chaired by Judith Westmoreland, Jackson County CASA, with vice chair Daniel Berezoski, Husch Blackwell LLP and secretary Kelsey Blackwell, Jackson County Prosecutor's Office. The committee includes members from the following organizations: 16th Judicial Circuit Court, Baty Otto Coronado PC, Child Protection Center, Crossroads Charter Schools, Hope House, Husch Blackwell LLP, Jackson County CASA, Jackson County Prosecutor's Office, Law Office of Young, Kuhl & Frick, LLC, Legal Aid of Western Missouri, Lynch Sharp & Associates, LLC, Newhouse, Saint Luke’s Health System, and Synergy Services.
