KCMBF has in place concrete plans for growth in helping the community: Domestic Violence Alliance plans to cover the cost of continuing education credits for all its participants from various professions; Military Matters is in the midst of a national expansion of its program; and Student Law Academy is developing a Pre-Law Fellowship for Scholars to cover the cost of the LSAT, test-prep courses, and law school application fees. To continue this unparalleled growth for such worthy causes, we need your help!
Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Foundation is a tax-exempt organization under section 501(c)3 of the Federal Tax Code, Federal Tax ID No. 43-11 79222, therefore in accordance with the regulations of the IRS a portion of your donation may be tax deductible.

The annual Liberty & Justice Gala is the primary fundraising event in support of KCMBF and its programs. KCMBF is the charitable arm of KCMBA. This exclusive event features a cocktail hour, dinner, auction, and presentation to recognize and celebrate the great volunteer work performed by lawyers in the Kansas City community.
In November 2019, the KCMBF Board of Directors passed a Resolution changing the name of the Liberty & Justice Legacy Award to the Jack L. Campbell Legacy Award. To view the Resolution, please click here.
